As a parent you're in charge of recording significants dates. First tooth, first smile, first steps... Then you come to "walking." When do they technically start walking? Is the first step considered walking? I didn't think so. How about 2 to 3 steps? From the couch to the ottoman? Do they need to be able to hold their own when their 2.5 year old sibling buzzes the tower? After much thought and consideration here's when I think Kegan started walking - July 8th (exactly 10 months old)! She was taking more than 5 steps. She could stand without using furniture but most importantly everytime someone saw her they would say "Look she's walking!" That's good enough for me!
